Fintech startup Newchip nabs $2 million in seed funding to bring access and transparency to the world of startup investing

Newchip, an investment marketplace, has raised $2 million seed funding round. The funding was led by institutional investments from fintech specialists JadeValue Fintech, Yeoman’s Capital, Spunik ATX, Youbi Capital, and Polymath. The startup also announced it has exceeded 50,000 individual users. Newchip connects new and experienced investors to business and real estate investment opportunities around the US. Investors can start investing with as low as $100 and entrepreneurs can raise up to $50 million. In 2017, $300 million in investment capital was sought by 800+ listed companies.
